I have project managed art projects in diverse settings since 2000, bringing several companies from start-up to healthy turnover. My projects have generated over 1.2 million pounds in income and I have additionally secured funding to support development and delivery from the partner organisations listed below.
Primary Job Title – Creative Director Secondary Job Title – Creative Producer Job Titles - Artist, Arts Administrator,
Director, Producer, Project Manager,
Fund Raiser, Festival Programmer, Writer,
Creative Learning, Marketing, Business
As a Project Manager I have had the opportunity to work on an extensive range of projects. I have coordinated, artistically directed, fundraised for and helped to establish, Watford's Rainbow and Lantern Festivals, UK Centre for Carnival Arts (Luton), Cha Community Arts Cafe and Trim Tots Healthy Lifestyle Programme in conjunction with Great Ormond Street Hospital. I run regular workshops in a number of settings ranging from schools and children’s centres to adult education and mental health. In a workshop setting I aim to inspire, impart basic practical skills and instill confidence in people's own creativity.
I find it hard to exist in just one creative domain and work with all ages and backgrounds using my workshop/exhibition audiences to sound out my own creative outputs. My work focuses on engagement, fun, interaction and transformation.
